My grandmother taught me to sew when I was a young girl, and over the years I made clothing, Halloween costumes for my children and their friends, and countless other handmade items. As my kids grew older and I began working full time, sewing naturally moved to the back burner.

Now that I’m retired, I’ve rediscovered my love for sewing — and I’ve fallen in love with machine embroidery as well. I’ve created adorable embroidered baby items for family and friends, and I’ve also learned a technique called Free Standing Lace.

With encouragement from my family, I began making and selling unique earrings, ornaments, and gifts. The earrings are my favorite to create because they can be delicate, playful, bold, or anything in between. They’re incredibly lightweight, so they don’t tug on your ears the way larger dangle earrings often do, making them comfortable to wear all day. They’re also easy to customize with different colors, which makes each pair truly one of a kind.
