Single Sign-In Update FAQ

We heard you and we made it happen!

Starting October 10, 2025, Drifa’s Leap now supports a single sign-in for both buyers and sellers. No more juggling two accounts, switching browsers, or guessing which email you used to log in. Whether you are here to shop, sell, or both, it is all in one place now.

This FAQ is here to walk you through what is changing (and what is staying the same), especially if you already have both a customer and seller account. If you are new to the platform, you will automatically be set up under the new single sign-in system. ?

General


Why did Drifa’s Leap make this change?

Users expressed the desire to have the option of a single account using one email for both buying and selling. We listened and got to work to create an easier to use platform.


Do I need to do anything right now?

Not unless you have both customer and seller accounts.


Do I still need two separate accounts for buying (customer) and selling?

No


Can I keep both of my existing seller and customer accounts open?

Yes


Does this update merge my two accounts?

This update is not a merge, it is a platform update that allows a single sign in to have access to the customer and seller interface and tools.  


Does this update bring data from one account to another? 

No, this platform update is allowing one account to be used for both buying and selling items on the platform. Right now we do not have the ability to merge existing accounts. This is why we are recommending that those that want to go to a single account update their seller account so you do not lose any seller or shop information and data.


What account is better to keep?

We are recommending keeping the account that has the most history/data.

Sellers, if you have an existing sales history and shop set up we are recommending you keep that account so that you do not have to set up your shop a second time.


Can I still set up two accounts if I want to keep my buyer and seller data/history separate?

Yes


Can my second account be deleted once I have updated my preferred account?

Yes, you will lose all of your purchase history and any wishlists but your reviews you have already left will be saved.


What happens to my existing customer account now that single sign-in is live?

Nothing, they will both stay as ‘active’ accounts until you request an account be deleted. If you want either your seller or your buyer account deleted just email support@drifasleap.com


Can I delete one of my old accounts?

If you would like any account deleted, please email support@drifasleap.com with the email for the one you would like deleted.


What if I want to not lose data from one account but change it to the email I used on my other account? 

If you want to change your email you will need to have that account deleted that is using your preferred email(remember that data will be lost), and then log into your preferred account and change the email from your profile settings.


I forgot which email I used for my seller/buyer account, what is the quickest way to get this information?

Email support@drifasleap.com and we will get you that info right away.


For Sellers Accounts


Will this change how I access my shop dashboard or manage listings?

No


Will my shop data (products, orders, reviews) stay the same?

Yes


Do I still log in from the same “Log In” place?

Yes


How does this affect payouts or Stripe Connect?

It does not


Can I use my funds from sales to pay for products as a customer?

No, due to the manner in which funds are held by both pay system platforms and Drifa’s Leap itself.


For Customer Accounts


Will my order history or saved items be affected by this platform update?

No. The only thing that will affect that is if you opt to delete your account.


Do I have to re-enter my shipping or payment information?

No. If you are keeping your customer account then there is nothing you need to do. You will only need to do this if you are adding a Customer Account to an existing seller account.


Will I still get buyer updates and newsletters the same way?

Yes


Technical / Troubleshooting


I tried to create a new account and it says “account already exists”, now what do I do?

Initiate a password reset, or email support@drifasleap.com for assistance 


I can’t access my shop anymore, how do I get help?

My login credentials stopped working after the update, how can I reset my password?

Follow the prompt on the login screen for a password reset


I accidentally created a duplicate account, how do I fix that?
