Welcome to our store where we offer both historical and contemporary handmade watercolors and textiles.

We, Amy & Sean, are both crafters who've have fallen down many crafting rabbit holes and some of our creations are available here.  Currently this includes handmade watercolors, handwoven trim, belts & accessories, various knit projects, and occasionally digital patterns for knitting and tablet weaving.

Amy learned crochet and knitting as a teenager and their interest in fiber arts has only expanded to also include, fiber preparation, spinning, dying, knitting, crochet, sewing, weaving, and most recently making handmade watercolors.  The watercolors Amy enjoys making most are often highly pigmented, granulating, and mostly vegan,  Amy uses a variety of pigments from natural sources, commercial, extinct, and occasionally ones they've processed themselves.

Sean has been a dabbler of both digital and physical creative mediums, and their interest in fiber arts was sparked by learning Inkle weaving.  Since they've learned a number of tablet weaving techniques, most of which they have fun experimenting with incorporating into double face tablet weaving designs.  Mostly they've focused on narrow band weaving of both historical and contemporary (often geeky) designs.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are your paints vegan?
Most of my paints are vegan, however a few are not as they contain natural ox gall. I am transitioning to fully vegan recipes as I adjust my older recipes. In the meantime, please review the individual listings for ingredient list and suitability for vegans.

What is a dot card?
Dot cards are a dot of paint on watercolor paper card. They are an affordable way to try out colors before investing in a quarter of half pan.
