Handmade Items Policies
Just about all of our creations are one-of-a-kinds, so I am always willing to discuss custom orders.
Our home and workspace are decidedly *not* animal-free, we have dogs and cats that like to observe and even try to participate at times. We do our best to make sure that the items are as fur-free as possible when they ship, however it is impossible to remove all traces of fur and dander.
If you are purchasing an item as a gift and request it to be shipped directly to the recipient, please feel free to include a gift message in the comments section of the order, and we will include your note with the package.
Tennessee residents: Sales Tax of 7% plus your applicable local rate will be added to your order.
Returns and exchange details:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me for information on returns. We will refund your purchase amount, less the cost of shipping, once the item is returned in unused condition. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping, and it must include a tracking number. This is for your protection and records as well as our own.
If you are placing a custom order, please note the following terms: 50% deposit is required, of which 25% is non-refundable. Once materials have been approved and purchased, the entire deposit is non-refundable. Photos will be sent for approval, and the remaining balance is due prior to shipment.
We strive very hard to get your orders out in a timely manner, within 2-3 business days. If your items arrive damaged, please contact us.

Damaged Product:
We use USPS to ship, and your package is insured up to $50 with their shipping insurance. Insurance to cover the full purchase price can be purchased for additional cost. If your package is damaged upon receipt, email elaine@ntheory.farm with pictures and we can help start a claim.
