We are Jay and Roxx, or Myskia and Rosa in the SCA. Roxx enjoys working with metal! They started learning as a coping mechanism for their substance use disorder recovery, and it exploded from there! They first learned how to a Roman-style of wire chain, then moved on to Norse wire weaving, and now they am trying to learn all things metal at a small scale (no blacksmithing for me). They can't wait to see where my recovery journey, my jewelry-making journey, and my transition journey all go! Jay is a fiber artist. All things fiber all the time. Jay crochets daily, enjoys embroidery and sewing, among many other things. Jay largely works the back end of business for Black Skye as well. We are both queer and disabled artisans. We are looking forward to what we can create combining our talents.
