I am a lifelong artist, doing individualized art in the context of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and fine art from studies, scrolls, as well as creating garb/costuming for people in the SCA.

I have done quite a bit of research in manuscripts of the medieval and renaissance period. I have begun to explore making pieces of art that can be used every day that reflect the medieval and renaissance spirit.

One way I do this is to make and produce my own beautiful art in that time period. Each design is hand made by me designed and painted on pergamenata or bristol paper with goauche paints. Some of these creations are made and sold as individual scrolls for people's awards. I take other designs and I scan or photograph the art and send it to my printing company to make the washi tape for customers to use.

I have varied interests and so I have been able to do research and study historical costume, and have been able to make handmade shirts that are comfortable and reflect the time period between the 14th and 17th century.  These shirts are suitable for many sizes and are appropriate for costumes, larping, and the SCA.

My process begins with making all of my shirts in linen purchased from a very reputable source, according to the size requirements.  I work with the individual if there are particular requests, such as embroidered collars or cuffs, buttons of a certain quality and needs. One pieces are cut by me, I machine sew the large parts of torso and sleeves, and then hand sew the cuffs and collars.  If embroidery is requested, at an additional cost, I have a reputable vendor that provides a wide variety of machine embroidered designs, and I will work with the individual on their desires.  I then hand stitch the machine embroidered pieces to the cuffs or collars as desired.

I have made many of these shirts and even have made them in color.  I’m currently offering them in white linen.
