Christine Reyes has been drawing ever since she could hold a pencil, starting with animals and moving on to creatures of fantasy, She has drawn dragons since she was 7. Receiving art instruction at a young age from family, school and a wide variety of arts and crafts experiences through Girl Scouts she dabbles in many art forms. At age 18 she met a muralist and learned how create trompe l'oiel (trick-of-the-eye) paintings and faux finishes. In 2006 she completed her Bachelors degree in Art Education and 2008 completed the teacher credential program.

Finding our current teaching climate, especially in regards to art, to be very discouraging, stressful and demoralizing she left traditional teaching to find another avenue of creative work. All the while, she has created works for commission, craft fairs and more. She has written a fantasy novel that is the beginning of a series in progress (published on Amazon) and is currently working on a tarot deck (coloring book now available) with plans to create an oracle deck in the future. She teaches at a classroom space run by Rock Mama Gallery in Sacramento, Ca,. Always excited to share the joy of creating she has facilitated The Artist's Way for many years, incorporating craft projects and microlessons meant to encourage others to explore their interests.
