The dk brown and lt brown hat are made of a heavy cotton, similar to a light canvas, but still looks and feels great on. If you need to wash it use a little dawn dish soap or soap for wool just a tad. Cool water, swish it around a little not to much, rinse in cool water, swish a little. Do not wring out, lay flat on towel, fold towel over it so it covers it and you can place walk on it to get extra water out. Do that a couple of times and they just lay flat to dry. You're not working in a coal mine with it so you can just use a little free-breeze if you want to freshen it up. Wool is micro antibacterial and warm in the Winter as well as cool in the Summer.
