This is a completely handmade sculpture. I formed the face, then added ceramic leaves. To get the texture for the leaves, I pressed leaves I picked from my evening walks into the clay. He is made of a high-fired clay, so he can be outside all year, even during the cold winter weathers. He is 11 inches long, 10 in. wide, and about 3 inches high. The back has a sturdy ceramic hook which can be used to hang it on a flat surface.
