The renowned Italian swordmaster, Fiore dei Liberi, was active in Friulia, Northern Italy, at the end of the 14th and into the first decades of the 15th centuries. His martial art, "arte d'armizare", taught combative use of the sword, dagger, spear, and poleaxe, in and out of armour, on foot and on horseback. 

This pin is based Fiore's Master of Breaking, the abrazzare, showing broken arms--a core element of Fiore's lethal techniques. It is about 1 1/2" tall and full of rich detail. 

Made from high-detail bearing jewelers' brass, featuring a solid pin on the back side.
