These are approximately 3-1/2" long Aubusson Style tapestry bobbins. They have been sanded to 240 grit for a silky smooth feel that won't snag your fiber.

They are unfinished to prevent any contamination. A natural oil/beeswax finish can be added later to enhance the grain and potentially extend the life of the bobbin. I would recommend testing to make sure the finish doesn't harm the fiber you are going to use.

These upcycled bobbins are made from off-cuts from a custom shop.
