This super soft multi-tonal grey  shawl is handwoven by me, on a traditional floor loom in 100% alpaca. The hypoallergenic alpaca makes for a cozy and elegant wrap. Solid grey and an interesting grey tweed as warp combined with black weft create an interesting dimension to this piece. Woven in a broken diamond twill pattern. Blanket stitch on the fringe makes a nice decorative edging. The Alpaca, spun in Peru, does shed a bit until it has been worn several times. Slight variations in weave may be seen, due to being handwoven vs machine woven perfection.
